The roots of Reed Freight Services, Inc. began to form in
1975 when John R. Reed began his trucking heritage with Reed
Trucking Company by purchasing equipment and hiring drivers
to service the transportation needs of the agricultural and
construction markets. After John R. Reed, Inc. was formed in
2001, Reed Freight Services, Inc. was added in 2002 out of a
need for operation in more diverse lanes across the nation.
Reed Freight Services, Inc. currently operates as a
third-party logistics provider and serves a major client
base consisting of key players in the national production
and distribution chain ranging from local small businesses
to FortuneŽ 500 companies. Reed Freight Services, Inc. is
now owned by Reed Family Holdings, Inc., D.B.A. Reed
Logistics. The holding company is wholly-owned by John R.
Reed and Patsy Reed. |
